Today we had a good day! Keagan and I have both been sick all week and even though we woke up not feeling 100% we decided to treat ourselves out to something fun. It was a beautiful day with the temp. right at 70 so we decided to drive to Columbia and visit the Riverbanks Zoo. We did everything there that they had to offer. We fed the giraffes, rode the choo choo train, took a ride on a pony, rode the carousel, ate ice cream, walked around and look at all the animals not only once but twice!! The only thing we did skip on was feeding the birds nectar. I had a not so pleasant experience last time and had one pee on me. :/ hahaAll the animals seemed to be in great moods and of course it put us in one too. Heading back home I don't think more than 10 words were said to each other in our hour drive. Keagan was taking a very well needing nap and Aaron and I were soaking in some good memories.
what a great day! i haven't been in probably 15 years...i just mentioned to my husband the other week that we should drive the kids up there one day but I don't know how they would handle a 3 (i think) hour drive =/
