Today at Church we started a program that I am so excited about. It's called the Baby Bottle Boomerang. It starts today and will come to an end on Sunday, Feb. 1st. Basically what we had to do was pick up a baby bottle at the front of the church if we were wanting to participate. For the next three weeks we'll throw our spare change & bills into this bottle. At the end of the 3 week period we'll turn our bottles in and all proceeds go to our local Carolina Pregnancy Center.
The Carolina Pregnancy Center is set up for girls that come in day after day with unplanned pregnancies. This money will help the staff and volunteers guide these girls and answer any and all questions they may have in their times of uncertain hope and direction.
I am so excited to be a part of this! Normally we have a "special savings" account and everytime we spend money with our debit card, all the change that is needed to round us up to the whole dollar goes into this savings account. Well Aaron and I have designated these funds for our baby bottle and are so proud to be doing this!
